The Certified Hand Center of Rockford is pleased to announce Leah Crull has successfully completed the necessary requirements for recertification of her Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
A Certified Hand Therapist is an Occupational or Physical Therapist who, after meeting specific eligibility requirements, has passed a comprehensive test of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper quarter rehabilitation. Because of ongoing changes in the profession, The Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC) requires a CHT to demonstrate continued professional development and competency by recertifying every 5 years. This is achieved through participation in HTCC approved continuing education courses totaling 80 hours.
Leah has been a Certified Hand Therapist for 20 of her 34 years as an Occupational Therapist. Congratulations, Leah, on your continued dedication to the field of Occupational Therapy!
We are happy to celebrate Leah’s 16th year with the Certified Hand Center and 33rd year as an Occupational Therapist. Leah is the most experienced Board-Certified Hand Therapist in the Rockford area, and she continues to deliver high quality, individualized care to her patients!
